Allen is thrilled to be debuting with Play On in this podcast of TAMING OF THE SHREW. Most recently he completed a run of A CHRISTMAS CAROL at Hartford Stage as Ebenezer Scrooge. Prior to that, he played Sherlock Holmes in BASKERVILLE at Peninsula Players, and before that he played the title role in the New York summer hit world premiere production of MALVOLIO.

He has played great roles across the US and Canada including Othello and Iago (OTHELLO), Cyrano (CYRANO DE BERGERAC), Hamm (ENDGAME), Ichabod Crane (TALES OF WASHINGTON IRVING), and Vladimir (WAITING FOR GODOT). Originally from Houston,  he is a US Army Infantry veteran, a 2015 Lunt-Fontanne Fellow, a 2015 3Arts Prize recipient, and a 2019 Nicholas Ruddall Prize recipient.
