Brittany K. Allen is a Brooklyn-based actor and writer. Recent performing credits include the world premiere of her own play, Redwood (Portland Center Stage), Gloria: A Life (Off Broadway), and Minor Character (Invisible Dog; New York Innovative Theatre Award for Best Ensemble).

As an actor, she's developed new plays with Clubbed Thumb, Atlantic Theater Company, New Georges, Primary Stages, Ensemble Studio Theatre, New York Stage and Film, and the Dennis & Victoria Ross Foundation. Her original plays have been produced at Jungle Theater and the Black Repertory Theatre of Kansas City, and workshopped with Manhattan Theatre Club, Studio Theatre, KCRep, and elsewhere.
