Chinaza Uche
Chinaza Uche was last seen on stage in Clubbed Thumb’s New York Time Critics pick of Tumacho. It was a western musical where he sang a forlorn duet with Hamilton’s Phillipa Soo.
His other Theater credits include the New York Time’s critics pick Sojourners/Her Portmanteau at New York Theatre Workshop; Sugar in Our Wounds at Manhattan Theatre Club (Audelco win: Best Ensemble); Dolphins and Sharks at the Labyrinth Theatre Company and many others.
On television he is currently starring in the 2nd season of Apple TV+’s Dickinson alongside Hailee Steinfeld and Jane Krakowski. He’s made guest-star appearances on Blue Bloods, The Blacklist, Deception, Golden Boy, Apple TV+’s anthology season Little America and upcoming on Fear The Walking Dead.
Uche’s expanding list of film credits include Mother of George (Sundance), Minyan (Berlin film festival; Outfest’s grand jury prize for U.S. narrative feature), and starring in the feature film "Nigerian Prince” (Tribeca film Festival).
He is a graduate of the Tisch School of Drama.
